Weekly Photo Challenge: Faceless Portraits

This weeks theme of Faceless Portraits I find both fun and challenging. Fun because I remember one of my favorite shots was because I slipped while taking a photo and the persons head got cut off. It ended up being one of my favorites from the session. Challenging in the sense of creativity, but that's also what I love most about photography.

Every week a guest judge will choose a 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winner.

Keep Calm and Carry a Camera... Special Announcement!

I never have thought of myself as "artsy" or actually even very creative. I had never owned a sewing machine, used a hot glue gun or knew what an Etsy shop was. {Don't laugh!} Now, I do most of my online shopping on Esty and asked for Michael's Art & Crafts gift cards for my birthday. Times are defiantly changing. 


The way I feel I best express myself is through photography. My passion. That is why I'm super excited to announce something I've been dreamed of doing for the longest time. I'm going to be hosting a weekly photo challenge!


This is for everyone to express their self through photography. Professional or not. We will have weekly guest photographers and helpful photography tips.


I've added a "Weekly Photo Challenge" page to my blog. Here's how it works to be considered a winner....

1. Take your photo. Try not use one you've already taken. Take a new one. Challenge yourself. 
2. The link to enter your photos is open Friday and Saturday. {the challenge closes Saturday night}
3. You post your photos on your blog, thorough Flickr or Facebook. 
4. Please enter a new photo each week.
5. You can only enter ONE photo each week. If you have any other photos {or collage of photos} in your entry, you will not quality to win the weekly photo challenge. 
6. Please be sure to enter the permalink to your blog post... not the link to the home page of your blog. Incorrect links are deleted and it is the participant's responsibly to enter it again correctly.
