Insta Sunday

A glimpse into my week...

I crave winter.
My favorite season of the year.
I miss boots, scarves, fireplaces, hot coco and the smell of cinnamon.

I was given my grandmothers sewing machine with so many awesome goodies
just waiting for me to start a new project. Now I just need to lean to sew.

I made this wall and table banner for a friends birthday.
I was pretty excited the way they turned out.

I blogged about my new favorite Starbucks coffee: Tall Skinny Peppermint Mocha
Next thing I knew, my husband surprised me with one at work. I adore him so much.

We officially have a sophomore. That's right, first day of school this week for
our oldest Rachel. I just realized she learns to drive this year. Freaking out? Yes!

Ended the week with a beautiful bouquet of red roses
delivered to me at work. My husband spoils me rotten. :)

Happy Sunday and remember to SHINE!

  2. I love your blog. I don't think I've commented on it yet, but I read it. A lot. You're just so positive and accepting. It's so wonderful to read and I always leave with a smile and a less tumultuous soul.

(I'm looking forward to cooler months, too. Not winter, not yet - I'm not keen on getting back into driveway shovelling. Autumn certainly though. :) Pumpkin spice lattes!)

  3. BEAUTIFUL photos! I especially love the first two! I crave winter, too (I think anyone living in Texas has no hope to crave winter as an escape from this awful heat!). Give me those pumpkin spice and peppermint mocha lattes any day of the week. Mmm, mmm!

I hope you'll consider linking this post up to our Sunday Snaps Link-Up Party! I definitely think you have a great chance to be featured!

Hope to see you linked up :-) Have a great end to your weekend!

  5. My momma just taught me how to sew. I have attempted to learn several times before but this time I was really motivated because there was a cute headband that I wanted to make. Helps to have something cute to motivate ya. Also I can't believe my oldest will be a freshman this year. Crazy how time flies.
