Photo Challenge Winner: Water

This week's special guest judge is
Brooke from Covered in Grace.

Here are Brooke's top picks...

1st Place WINNER: Amanda from Royal Daughters Designs
I really love this photo for so many reasons. The focus of the shot is 100% the water. The waning sunlight casts just the right amount of shadow so that the water is highlighted, and the angle of the photo makes sure that the water is the first thing the eye sees. Also, this photo displays very well just how essential water is to life/our planet, it's being used as a tool and as nourishment, but at the same time...it's powerful-blasting through the hose!

2nd Place WINNER: Amanda from Raising Miss Mommy
I can really appreciate the hard work and determination that went into taking this photo. Droplets fall so quickly and to capture them in such a beautiful form like this is a photographic feat. Another beautiful element in this photo is the bokeh-esque effect that the background takes on...another view of water in this image.

3rd Place WINNER: Natalie from North Shore Days
First of all, the color in this shot is amazing. What really impressed me is how Natalie captured the clear reflection of the anchor posts in the water, the lighting and angle was very important here. The water is the clear focus of this image but has enough outside elements to make it really interesting.

If your photo was in the top three, CONGRATULATIONS! You rocked it this week!
